What did I do yesterday? Absolutely nothing. I took a road trip to Santa Monica beach, laid out on the sand, covered myself from head to toe, played some Donavon Frankenreiter, and just passed out. I did absolutely nothing the whole day, and somehow it felt like i'd done more that day for myself than I have in a long while. I spend so much time convincing myself that taking photographs doesn't count as work, I never realize when it's time to take a break. It never even sneaks up on me, I just break down halfway through a day, and realize maybe I do need blue sky holidays. Now I'm back to work, and I feel re-energized!
